IUS Aid and A.R Foundation Foundation is pleased to announce that People of Basti Nazir Layyah have asked for a second school to be built. Locals have offered us 500 square metres (one canal) of land donation to build and run a school for the deserving poor and orphaned of remote and rural area of Layyah, Pakistan.
Inspired and motivated by the success of our Al Qaim School project , where pupils achieved scholarships and good grades, which was recognised by Pakistan Education Board, also brought job opportunities to the locals.
A.R Foundation accepted the offer visualising the commitment of the community clearly indicating a partnership for this Education project. We have a three phase approach for this.
Phase 1 Provide a school building
Phase 2 Facilitate towards running a school in an owned building through sponsorships.
Phase 3 Encourage, provide information guidance to become self reliant through Punjab Education Foundation (P.E.F) a project funded by World Bank for a sustainable partnership.
Our key focus after Phase 3 is to review:
A) Financial assistance to up to 200 students
B) Technical assistance
C) Continuous development and training for staff
D)Regular monitoring
E)Evaluation
Help us achieve this vision. A chance for the deserving poor and orphans, especially the girls of Basti Nazir to get education locally in a secure child friendly environment.
The Punjab Education Foundation (P.E.F) has set a criteria which we will aim to fulfill:
– Purpose built school building with boundary wall
– Minimum enrollment of 150 students
– Qualified staff
– Supports remote and rural area
Phase 1
We initially need
-6 classrooms to accommodate 35 children per room
-1 head teachers office
-1 staff room
-3 toilets ( Girls, boys, staff)
– 1 store room
