Martyrs Appeal

Day by day, as we hear in news, cases of terrorist attack increase, the urgency to support the victims grows.
The brutality of these killings has shown no regard for age, or gender. Victims have included the very young, to the old and infirm, from men of working age, to young school girls and pregnant women. Even worshippers in the state of prayer.
In aftermath of these killings, it is the families of the martyrs who are now prisoned in poverty with the trauma of the loss of their loved ones.

But you can make a difference.

Last year, as a direct result of your funding, in Pakistan:

– We supported living expenses for a widow of a martyr
– We supported one semester’s education for a victim
– We supported over £2000 in treatment and specialist medical equipment costs

Thanks to the money donated by donors over the years for the Martyrs Appeal, IUS Aid:

• Annually supports a martyr’s family in Pakistan through the Rehana Foundation
• Aids families where their children (ages as low as 16) have been victims of assassination
• Aids families where bread-winner is martyred, in areas such as education, utility bills etc.
• Has helped give medical aid to casualties of attacks, primarily in Mastung, Quetta and Lahore
• Casualties who have lost body parts and their livings and are denied governmental support
• Listens to individuals, case by case, and provides support

As per case requirements, IUS Aid covers cost for medical costs, living expenses as needed for cases. We work closely with on ground charities, in a collaborative effort to best help victims of attacks as well as their families. We also contribute to case by case appeals of help from families who have lost their breadwinners.

With the continual increase in the number of attacks, we urgently need your help.
