“It has been a very exciting few months for the newly formed IUS marketing Department. Since our inception in November 2015 we have begun many new initiatives and projects; some of which have been completed and others that are ongoing.
Some of the highlights include; the new @IUSNational Twitter and Instagram social media pages. The revised IUS Facebook page, which is now called, IUS – Islamic Unity Society and we are now also on the LinkedIn too. On which we are now called IUS – UK Charity. It is an opportunity for a new, existing and previous volunteers to add our IUS on to the work experience and online CV.
We have also recently conducted a survey of the youth, asking questions about what sort of topics and issues that we should be addressing. The results have been very interesting and has have given us a fantastic feedback on what areas we should be concentrating on and how best we can serve our members.
We are aiming to use the survey results to produce a program and/or documentary… So yes, it’s all go in the marketing Department and it is very exciting times.
