IUS Membership

The Islamic Unity Society (IUS) is run by youth volunteers, is totally independent of any government or mosque and relies on the support of its members. The IUS implements a membership model where people subscribe on a yearly basis to be IUS members.

Please note that being on the mailing list or Facebook group does not make you an IUS member.

 

Benefits of membership

Being an IUS member is about giving just as much as recieving. You will be supporting vital charity work while also receiving these publications:

  • The annual IUS wall planner with Islamic dates and prayer times.
  • Voice of Unity (VOU) quarterly magazine.

Moreover you will gain:

  • Discounts on fees to attend study circles, summer camps and other events.
  • Abiliy to volunteer on a committee and run for a position on the Executive Committee.
  • Entitlement to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Subscription rates

The annual subscription rate is in three levels depending which stage of education you are at. You can fill in the form below and pay online using PayPal.

  • Professionals:  £15
  • Students (over 18):   £10
  • Students (under 18) : £5

(Please note that there is an extra charge of 38p, 56p and 74p respectively to cover the costs of online payment through PayPal)

Alternatively you can print this paper membership form, complete it and the standing order and send it by post, but it will take longer to be processed.
